Inspired by New Zealand flax
New Zealand has two native flax species: harakeke and wharariki. Their long leaves give them a bold silhouette, while their flowers provide nectar for birds, insects, geckos and even short-tailed bats. A flax bush can be a small habitat as well as a striking plant.
