Nikau Trees with Pūkeko Wall Decal – Lesh Creates x YDS Studio
Bring the essence of New Zealand’s native landscape into your home with Nikau Trees with Pūkeko – a bold, botanical wall decal from a creative collaboration between YDS Studio and Wellington nature artist Lesh Creates.
This charming artwork features two towering Nīkau palms, Aotearoa’s only native palm tree, paired with a colourful Pūkeko striding beneath. Originally painted in acrylic and ink, the design captures the tropical texture of the palms and the character of this curious wetland bird in Lesh’s signature hand drawn style.
Perfect for entrances, lounges, nature-inspired nurseries, classrooms, or anywhere that celebrates New Zealand’s native beauty. Printed in New Zealand using eco-friendly materials, this removable wall decal is easy to apply and gentle on your walls.
“It’s a wonderful product to add nature and life to inside walls that connect to the outdoors.” – Lesh
The tallest Nīkau stands at 207mm high, the second at 161mm, and the Pūkeko is 42mm high.

NZ Made Collab
Lesh Creates x YDS Studio
We’re thrilled to introduce our New Zealand made collaboration with Wellington artist Lesh Creates. Lesh is known for her detailed acrylic and ink artworks of native birds, flora, and sea life, all inspired by her love of nature and time spent exploring Aotearoa with her whānau.
Together, we’ve transformed her hand drawn pieces into removable, eco-friendly wall decals that bring the beauty of the outdoors inside. Printed locally in NZ, these decals are a stunning way to add warmth and meaning to any space.
