The design
Tall foliage, two quiet visitors
Pointed tī kōuka leaves spread above a slender branching trunk, with two kererū tucked into the foliage. Its upright shape makes a considered feature beside a console or in a clear section of tall wall.

Size and placement
Give the leaves space
Check the width at the top of the tree as well as its overall height. Position the complete silhouette clear of shelves and door frames so the leaf clusters and both birds remain visible.
Dimensions are approximate. Metres are used from 1 m upward, and centimetres below 1 m. Measure your available wall space before choosing.
Available artwork dimensions
- 55 cm wide x 1 m high
- 83 cm wide x 1.5 m high
- 1.11 m wide x 2 m high
- 1.22 m wide x 2.2 m high
- 1.66 m wide x 3 m high

Made here, for your wall
What arrives
The artwork shows a cabbage tree with two kererū among the leaves, in the composition pictured.
Made to order in New Zealand in removable matte vinyl, printed with water-based inks.
Application tape holds the detail together while you transfer the artwork to the wall. It is removed after application.
Check your surface first
Best on a smooth, sound painted wall. Let new paint cure fully before installation. Removable does not mean reusable, and removal results depend on the paint and wall condition. Unsure about your finish? Send us a close-up photo before ordering.
How application-tape installation works
- Position the decal and use the side-hinge method shown in the guide, approximately 20 cm from the top.
- Remove the backing and smooth the artwork onto the wall as directed in the supplied guide.
- Remove the application tape last, leaving the artwork on the wall.
Delivery and returns
Made to order in New Zealand. See our current delivery information for shipping options and estimates. Please check return conditions before opening or applying your decal.

The sweetly scented flowers of tī kōuka become pale berries that feed birds, including kererū. This familiar tree is an important part of a living native landscape.
Where to find cabbage trees in New Zealand
Cabbage trees, or tī kōuka, grow across New Zealand, including the Canterbury Plains. They also feature in restoration planting in the Orokonui Valley near Dunedin. Their distinctive crowns are part of our lowland landscape, while kererū are found in native forests throughout the country.
