Bare Island Waimārama | Josh Lancaster x YDS Studio

Celebrate the beauty of Hawke’s Bay with Bare Island – Waimārama, a striking wall decal from the collaboration between YDS Studio and New Zealand landscape painter Josh Lancaster.

This round design captures the iconic Bare Island (Te Motu-o-Kura) rising from the Pacific Ocean, framed by soft skies and reflective waters. Painted with Josh’s signature realism and sense of place, the artwork evokes memory, belonging, and the quiet beauty of Aotearoa’s coastlines.

Perfect for living rooms, holiday homes, offices, or any space that connects to the land and sea.

Proudly New Zealand made and printed on premium woven fabric from recycled plastic bottles, this removable and reusable wall decal is environmentally friendly, easy to install, and gentle on your walls. Offcuts are repurposed into fence posts for Kiwi farmers, making this piece as sustainable as it is beautiful.
