Refund policy
RETURNS
Unfortunately we do not offer exchanges or refunds for item(s) purchased online due to change of mind. In the unlikelihood that an item(s) is sent incorrectly, we do offer an exchange or refund. For faulty item(s), the fault will be assessed by the Your Decal Shop Team and then either repaired, replaced or refunded. If you’d like to discuss an incorrect or faulty item(s), please email our online team at info@yourdecalshop.co.nz within 3 working days of receiving your order. We may ask you to send us a photo of the fault if visible.
All Decals MUST be returned unused in the state of which they were posted with the Decal, Backing Paper, Application tape, Squeegee and extras still in their original condition.
If the item(s) is faulty or incorrect, we will refund you the costs of returning the item(s) to Your Decal Shop and cover all shipping costs for the replacement or repaired item(s). If we ask you to return an item(s), please repackage your item(s) as securely as possible. You are responsible for the item(s) until it reaches us. Your Decal Shop does not accept responsibility for packages we do not ship ourselves. We will contact you once we have received the item(s).
There are no returns/exchanges on Custom Designs. We provide full installation instructions with all of our products to assist you in the application of your decal from us.
Promotional Gifts: Promotional free gifts are only available during specific promotional periods. All free gifts are; subject to availability, non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives. Entrants agree to be bound by these Rules. No cash alternatives are offered. Online promotion gifts are not available for Custom Designs unless noted on the promotion. No part of the gift is exchangeable for cash or any other gift.
Please also allow normal painted walls to dry 3 weeks before installing your decal.
Our Liquid Chalkpens are great products and allows you to write clearly and smoothly on our chalkboards. It can happen at they leave slight “ghosting” behind once you clean this off the chalkboard. We have found from customer experience that you can use Coca-Cola to remove this. Please note: Like all of our products, once your chalkboard is on your wall and you have written on it we can no longer offer a refund or except returns.
We strive to have the best product on the market and are always more than happy to ensure our quality.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods, custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
