Bamboo Decal Squeegee

At YDS Studio we have never included plastic squeegees with our wall decals. Instead, we have always recommended using a credit card or similar card for installation because wall decals are often a one off project and we didn’t want to contribute more single use plastic waste.

So we created our own solution.

Introducing the Bamboo Decal Squeegee. A more environmentally conscious alternative made from carbonised bamboo and felt, designed specifically for applying wall decals while reducing plastic waste.

Bamboo is one of the fastest growing plants in the world, naturally regenerative and rapidly renewable. It requires very little water, regenerates from its own root system and can be harvested without replanting, making it a more sustainable material choice compared to many traditional resources.

This small change allows both you and us to contribute towards a better future. One squeegee at a time.

Important
Apply decals using the felt edge only. Do not use the bamboo edge directly on your decal as it may damage the surface.

Designed for applying wall decals to smooth internal painted walls only.
