Our own original artwork, an in-house design team and New Zealand production come together in one studio. Our standard wall decals have a matte finish and are cut closely around the art for a painted-on-wall appearance. And when you need advice, you can talk to the makers.

Our team prints and finishes your order in our New Zealand studio. For our woven-fabric range, we use recycled-PET fabric and water-based inks chosen for their low odour.
We make your order, then prepare and pack it. Production and courier delivery are separate stages.

You buy from the New Zealand design studio behind the artwork. Our team develops original designs and makes orders here, with direct help from the makers. Our standard decorative wall decals combine a matte finish with artwork cut closely around its outline. The comparison above names the specific alternatives for each feature.
Our own original designs are exclusive to YDS and available through our authorised Resene retail channel. We also work with artists on clearly credited collaborations; those are distinct from our in-house originals.
Yes. Our design and production team makes your order in our New Zealand studio, bringing illustration, printing and finishing together.
Our standard wall decals are cut closely around the artwork, without a large clear surrounding sheet. Their matte, low-glare finish creates a painted-on-wall appearance. Specialist window, timber and other materials have their own finishes and application requirements.
Start with the product’s installation guidance and a suitable, clean, dry surface. Paint type and wall preparation affect adhesion and removal. Allow fresh paint to fully cure before applying a decal; follow your paint manufacturer’s guidance and ask our team if you are unsure. Read the installation guide.
Our woven-fabric decals are designed to remove, reposition and reuse on suitable surfaces. That does not apply to every material. The paint, surface preparation and condition of the decal affect the result, and minor touch-ups may be needed. Check the specific product before planning to move it.
Yes. Selected designs offer size or colour choices, and our team can help with custom projects. Send a photo of your wall and its measurements so we can discuss the design and scale with you. Ask our team.
Yes. Every Resene ColorShop across New Zealand has our decals on display and a lookbook of our designs. You can order in-store, too. Find out about YDS at Resene.
Your order is made to order, so production time comes before courier delivery. Dispatch and delivery are different stages. Check our current shipping guidance for the relevant timing, and contact us if you have a deadline.
