From Humble Beginnings
YDS Studio began life as Your Decal Shop, a small family business with big dreams. In 2012, after six years working as Head of Product Development for a leading European wall décor company, Antony returned to New Zealand with a vision to bring high-quality, design-led wall art into everyday spaces. Starting with a laptop, a roll of vinyl, and a clear idea, he and Jess built the business from scratch. They were designing by day, packing orders at night, and raising their young family at the same time.
Built for NZ Homes
From the beginning, we have focused on making wall art that is easy to install, beautifully crafted, and proudly made in New Zealand. Our online store delivers directly to thousands of homes and businesses across Aotearoa. Every order is designed and produced in our studio, made to last, and couriered within two to three working days. It is a fast, impactful way to transform a space.
Commercial Studio Projects
YDS Studio works closely with architects, interior designers, and project managers to deliver full-scale interior and exterior signage. From children’s wards and retail fit-outs to education and public buildings, we design and manufacture signage systems that meet fire ratings, durability standards, and environmental certifications. Each project is finished with visual cohesion and a strong design presence that enhances the space.
Artist Collaborations
We are proud to have partnered with some of New Zealand’s most iconic artists and brands. These include Flox, Hairy Maclary, Footrot Flats, NZ Post, and the All Blacks. Each collaboration brings depth, creativity, and cultural meaning to the environments we help shape. Whether it is a nursery, reception area, or commercial interior, these designs create connection and character.
A Studio with Purpose
Our studio is based in a renovated church in Hawke’s Bay. With high ceilings, original character features, and a modern clean aesthetic, it is a space that reflects who we are as a studio. Here, our team design, print, cut, and pack everything in house using top tier equipment including wide format water-based printers, CNC routers, fine art printers, and laser cutters. Every decision is made with sustainability in mind. We use vinyl made from recycled plastic bottles, laser cut bamboo, Green Tick certified acrylics, and ship using recycled packaging.
In 2023, we became the first business in New Zealand’s print and signage industry to win a Business Award for Sustainability.
Where We’re Headed
In 2025, we became YDS Studio. The new name reflects how far we have come and where we are going next. Our products are now available in every Resene ColourShop nationwide, and we continue to grow our network of trusted installation partners throughout New Zealand. We are committed to pushing design forward, creating meaningful work, and delivering signage that connects people to place.
While the name has changed, our values remain the same. Design-first, NZ made, and proudly family owned.
THE TEAM BEHIND THE BRAND
Antony Clark
Antony is the Founder and Director of Your Decal Shop, and is a specialist in the interior wall decoration industry. He works on innovating new products and works with commercial clients on custom projects while making sure everything runs smoothly. Antony is passionate about wall art because of its capability to completely reinvent a space. Outside of work, he enjoys landscape photography and just getting out in nature. He strives at listening, discussing, and focusing on results within the team to create impressive and exclusive artworks.
Jess Clark
Jess is the Managing Director at Your Decal Shop, and creates the order in the business. She manages customer emails, accounts, artist projects, and commercial installations. Jess enjoys family life in Hawke's Bay as well as exploring local parks and beaches. Jess always gets taken away by how impressive wall decals look in real life and the impact they have on mental wellbeing. She is proud to be part of a New Zealand business while setting the standard for environmentally friendly wall graphics worldwide.
Shayla Harding
Shayla is the Studio Manager, decal designer, and office plant mother at Your Decal Shop. Living in Hawke's Bay, she loves farm life, hiking, hunting, and fishing. She finds the most rewarding part of her job is seeing her designs in local establishments, especially in healthcare, where her work lifts spirits. Shayla enjoys the creative freedom at Your Decal Shop and looks forward to working on more "feel good" projects, staying eco-friendly, and helping conservation efforts.
Maree Koroitamana
Maree is the Creative Design Adviser at Your Decal Shop, collaborating with architects and designers to create tailored interior solutions. She manages client relationships, contributes to design projects, and supports the team with creative concepts. With extensive experience in design specifications and sales, Maree combines a sharp eye for detail with a passion for turning ideas into outstanding results. Based in the Bay, Maree loves the coastal lifestyle, enjoying ocean swimming and walking her foxy, Xiggy. She’s proud to be part of a homegrown business that creates unique, sustainable wall graphics with a meaningful impact.
Kieran Rynhart
Kieran is the Graphic Designer at Your Decal Shop, creating custom images and preparing them for print. With 12 years as a freelance illustrator, he brings extensive experience to his role. Outside of work, he enjoys personal art projects, family time, the outdoors, and music. Passionate about ancient history, he loves New Zealand's diverse landscapes and cultures. Kieran's attention to detail and distinctive style contribute to the team's success. "Nothing beats the accomplishment of seeing a beautiful piece of art you've helped make".
Christie Watson
Christie is a Production Assistant at Your Decal Shop, where she plays a key role in creating and preparing decals to the highest quality standards. With a background in customer service and childcare, she brings exceptional attention to detail, creativity, and a positive, can-do attitude to the team. Christie thrives on learning new skills and supporting her colleagues to meet deadlines. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, pursuing creative projects, and staying active. Christie is proud to contribute to a New Zealand business known for its innovative designs.
Frankie
Frankie is the fun-loving Dachshund who occasionally joins the Your Decal Shop team, bringing laughter and energy when she’s around. Known for her cheeky barks at visitors, Frankie keeps everyone on their toes. When not in the office, she spends her time with her sister Rosie, a golden Labrador, enjoying adventures and naps. Frankie’s playful personality and occasional appearances add a touch of joy to the team, making her a beloved part of the extended Your Decal Shop family. Her favourite decals are from the Hairy Maclary series.
